The latest event to happen at O3 is that the mini-buas finally let go of his educational life. He has left university (under unknown circumstances) for the pursuit of greatness and money.Uberbaus has blown a gasket in the meantime. In this respect I can't blame him because he had pulled strings for mini-baus to get into the ivy league school to do a double major.
Uberbaus' blown gasket is still spewing steam and vulgarities. Of course, the bulk of the steam and vulgarities are splattered at the staff in the office and which ever unfortunate soul is in his presence. More staff are resigning as an effect. It is not known how long the spewing can be sustained by Uberbaus. I can just picture him blaming the staff for not taking on more work and responsibilities so that mini-baus can stay in school.
The short term effect of mini-baus leaving can definitely be felt. Will there be any meaningful long term? That is the million-dollar gamble that mini-baus is taking without Uberbaus' blessings.

I think it is a great shame for the Mini-Baus to give up his education to continue with the family business.. It is a huge risk and he could be in pickle if O3 ever failed to live up to its potential and it is going to be hard without good staff in the company... Can understand why Uberbaus is pissed mad but sad to say this is brought upon themselves.. Vicious cycle... Oh well.. =)
Hey but lots of successful people are school dropouts. School have a over tendency to teach what is right and wrong. Sometimes leaving school makes you smarter. Its my excuse for being stupid.
It's a really STUPID decision to leave school to pursue a business that is losing $$. If the business goes bust in say, 10 years, he's screwed for the rest of his life! Only with a 'A' Levels, what can he do? If the busines goes bust, he can still decide to to go back to school, anything beyond that, it'll b lil late to go back to school and graduate before he turns 35. The least he could do is to get a basic arts degree from NUS! at least if the business goes bust, which I think it will, he'll have a trump card. Anyway, it's his life, why should I care?
I think the main reason y the Uberbaus is so angry is that he feels that he did not do a good enuff job as a parent to educate his children. So u can't blame him for blowing a few gaskets.
Well we shall see how all of this turns out... =)
